
Since founding her company, Alissa has become an advocate for STEM and Entrepreneurial education. As a 10 year old, Alissa recalls her first science fair and the passion for innovation it ignited. She is an advocate for providing other students the opportunities to find their passion too. Alissa believes in the power of a dream and is dedicated to help students chaise theirs.

Alissa is a proud advocate for many non-profits and organizations that are providing underprivileged students opportunities they otherwise might not have. Some of her favorite organizations are Operation Breakthrough. powered by Travis Kelce's 87 and Running foundation provides STEM and trade education for underprivileged students in the Kansas City area. Gear UP NM provides STEM and Entrepreneurial education to students in the southwest. Alissa is a proud ambassador for Technolochicas and Microsoft DigiGirlz.
Alissa has worked with the USPTO to provide students with IP education and access. The IDEA Act includes Alissa's story as the youngest Latina patent holder in the US. Together, we hope to make Intellectual Property opportunities available to underrepresented groups. Only 13% of patent holders are women, Alissa hope through her advocacy work, together we can change that.

At just 14, Alissa's first product Hot Seat started a worldwide conversation and led to the enaction of legislation aimed at ending these hot car tragedies. Technology to prevent children's hot car deaths are now becoming standard in most vehicles. Alissa believes in the power of a dream. One idea has the power to make a difference for so many people. She is dedicated to creating products and doing advocacy work that makes a difference.
